Fluidyne is excited to welcome Dennis Nelson; our new Vice President of Engineering and Operations. Nelson comes with an extensive background in wastewater treatment with 40 years experience working for various wastewater treatment companies. In the late 70s/early 80s, he worked with Fluidyne’s founder, Mike Mandt at Pentech. He then went on to be a founding partner of Jet Tech.
During his long and distinguished career, Nelson has worked as a Corporate Manager, an Operations Manager, an Application, Process & Design Engineer, and an Engineering Manager. He has also spent time in technology development, sales & marketing management, and asset management. His leadership skills led to positions of Vice President, Officer, and shareholder of five Companies.
His accomplishments include, being an inventor and/or co-inventor of seven US & International Patents on wastewater or sludge treatment processes and Sequencing Batch Reactor processes and/or equipment. As well as authoring several research & pilot studies, design and policy manuals, materials, safety publications, and internal training manuals.

“I have over forty years of experience in water and wastewater technologies, products and services, including management, operations, P&L responsibility, sales and applications, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, project management and technology development.”

“My speciality is operational disciplines with an emphasis on engineering and mechanical design, project management, contract negotiation and management, manufacturing, procurement and customer support.”

“I have a wonderful wife and partner, Ann, of 39 years; 2 children, Shannon and Shelia; and 5 grandchildren, Chelsie, Joshua, Caleb, Shae and Emmaly.”
